Local AI can give incorrect answers. This preview has been tested on a Windows 11 laptop; clean-device compatibility, physical phone testing and broad teaching quality remain unvalidated. It is not a replacement for a teacher or an approved assessment system.
Try local CPU answers, selected app-context import and a saved note on Android 9 or later with an ARM64 device. The model is included; no account, API key or internet permission is required. Allow roughly 2 GB free storage for setup. Physical A57 testing is pending.
Native inference and factual lookup tests passed in an emulator with Wi-Fi and mobile data disabled. This APK uses a development signing identity; a future release may require note export and reinstallation. Windows PDF, Office, news, practice and chat-history features are not included. Battery use, thermals and physical-phone performance remain unvalidated.
Recognized person lookups request clarification or use dated source notes and exact selected passages. Unsupported biographies are withheld. Older unsupported generated identity answers show a warning. This does not retrain model weights or guarantee every factual answer.
Import text and text-based PDFs, search locally, inspect source passages and build source-based study guides. Free-form AI explanations remain experimental.
Explore locally drawn Riemann sums and triangle area. Supported checked practice includes hints and explanations. Arbitrary diagrams and general word-problem interpretation are not implemented.
Calculate arithmetic, save notes and export Word-compatible RTF or Excel-compatible CSV. Opening files in installed applications starts from your button click.
Strict offline is the default. Optional internet access downloads dated public headlines and checks signed release information. Refreshing a news cache does not retrain the model or make every fact current.
BOYD can import a reviewed Anukul or Ekalavya context file and use the selected lesson or task locally. Its Anukul profile supports planning your own course work; its Ekalavya profile supports study and formative practice.
In Anukul’s lesson tutor and Ekalavya’s chapter-summary result, review and export the selected material, or explicitly open BOYD 0.7’s local review window on your computer. Start BOYD first. Import still requires your approval. Hosted accounts, all app screens and course submissions continue to need their own services.
HridaanLabsStart-Engine.ps1 using PowerShell. The browser opens the engine on your own computer at 127.0.0.1:19384.The launcher and application are not Windows code-signed. Windows or your organisation may block scripts; follow your organisation’s security policy. The signed release manifest is distinct from Windows executable signing.
Records stay in the local installation. BOYD does not upload prompts, documents or memories during public update checks. Its database and exported backups are not encrypted by the application. Windows, browsers, Office and synced folders have independent network and storage behavior.
BOYD 0.7 can download a signed release, check its exact size and SHA-256, then install it into a new version folder and copy your records with offline defaults. Stop the old engine before starting the new copy. Earlier versions can export records and restore them in a fresh installation. Keep original documents and external backups separately.
